PARTY LAKES TO ANCHOR YOUR BOAT The Wildest Waters in America

Forget clubs, lakes are the new place to party. Anchor down at some of the wildest lakes America has to offer—and trust us, they get wild.

After you’ve checked these off your bucket list, post your pictures using #ManScore and we’ll repost the best ones! As always, be responsible out there.

Lake of the Ozarks | Missouri
No better place to start than at the mecca of party lakes: Lake of the Ozarks. Anchor down at Party Cove—we’ll just let the name speak for itself.

Lake Tahoe | California and Nevada
If you’re looking for a lake in the western U.S., Lake Tahoe is a no brainer. It’s the largest alpine lake in North America, so you are guaranteed to find fellow partiers for literally miles. After spending all day in the sun, check out Zephr Cove and its beachside bar.

Lake Washington | Washington
Enormous floating parties, boat races and air shows make Lake Washington a prime anchoring destination. Husky Stadium (University of Washington) sits on the west shore—where better to tailgate than on a boat?

Lake Saint Clair | Michigan
10,000+ boats and 100,000+ people gather twice a year at lake Saint Clair for one of the largest boat parties in America: Jobbie Nooner. Called the “Mardi Gras of the Midwest”, the gathering is about as wild as you can get on water. Leave the kids at home for this one.

Lake Martin | Alabama
For the adrenaline junkies, head to Lake Martin’s Chimney Rock Island for some of the best cliff jumping in the U.S. The lake is man-made so it has it all: swimming, water sports, restaurants, beaches, camping and even golf.

Lake Havasu | Arizona
Featured on MTV’s spring break coverage, Bridgewater Channel is where you want to be if you’re looking for a crazy time. If the college type scene isn’t your thing, explore the rest of Lake Havasu’s 43 square miles with its water temperatures reaching as high as 85 degrees. We’re not sure if that counts as “cooling off” but we’ll take it.

Lake Cumberland | Kentucky
Imagine 1,651 boats and everything else that floats all tied up together, culminating in a small party town on water—the lake holds the Guinness World Record for largest tie-up. Grab some bourbon and head to Harmon Creek Party Cove to see what it’s all about.
